Kuwait SC’s Jovovic, Nasaf’s Berdiev satisfied despite stalemate

Ardiya: While both wanted a win, the point earned from their goalless draw in their AFC Champions League Two™ Group D match was still an acceptable outcome for Kuwait SC’s Nebojsa Jovovic and Ruzikul Berdiev of PFC Nasaf.

Dubai: Shabab Al Ahli Dubai cruised 3-1 past Al Hussein SC of Jordan in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 Group D opener at the Rashid Stadium on Wednesday.

First half strikes from Saeid Ezatolahi and Sardar Azmoun gave the United Arab Emirates side a two-goal cushion before Mateusao added the third with three minutes left to claim the three points.

Al Wakrah: Three first half goals saw Tractor SC of the Islamic Republic of Iran cruise to a 3-0 win over Qatar’s Al Wakrah on Wednesday in the teams’ Group A opener in the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 at Al Wakra Stadium.

Tomislav Strkalj and Mehdi Torabi struck in the 13th and 16th minutes respectively to put Dragan Skocic’s side in control of the tie and Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh hit the third seven minutes before the interval to put the result beyond doubt.
