Group B: Al Ansar defeat Balata Center to start AFC Cup challenge on high note
Amman: Lebanon’s Al Ansar started their 2021 AFC Cup campaign with a 2-0 win against debutants Balata Center of Palestine in Group B on Friday.
Al Ansar’s victory means they are top of the group after Matchday One, joint with Muharraq Club of Bahrain who earlier beat Jordan’s Al Salt 1-0. Al Ansar face Al Salt on Matchday Two while Balata Center’s Monday fixture sees them facing Muharraq Club.
