Kolkata: ATK Mohun Bagan will focus only on the positives when they take on Bashundhara Kings in Group D of the AFC Cup 2022™ at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium on Saturday. 

ATK Mohun Bagan's bid to advance to the Inter-Zone semi-finals suffered a blow when they fell 4-2 to fellow Indian side Gokulam Kerala FC on Matchday One.

With only the top team to advance to the Inter-Zone semi-finals, defeat against Bangladesh's Bashundhara Kings - who defeated Maziya Sports & Recreation Club in their opener - would mean early elimination for Juan Ferrando's side.

Uzbekistan to host AFC Women’s Club Championship 2022™ – Pilot Tournament in the West

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has confirmed the first of two host Member Associations (MAs) for the biggest-ever edition of the AFC Women’s Club Championship™ – Pilot Tournament, which will be held from August 15 to 28, 2022.

The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) will host the tournament for the clubs in the West, which is scheduled for August 20 to 26, while the host and match dates for the East will be determined in due course in the first edition to be held across the two AFC regions.

Jeddah: Saudi Pro League newcomers Al Fayha FC stunned Al Hilal SFC 3-1 on penalties to clinch their maiden Saudi King’s Cup at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Thursday.

The two sides were locked at 1-1 after extra time with Al Fayha prevailing in the penalty shootout thanks to a superb performance from their Serbian goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic.
