Bangkok: Defending champions Mes Sungun Varseqan of Islamic Republic of Iran cruised to an 8-2 victory over Kuwait’s Kazma SC in Group D of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Mes Sungun raced off the blocks as they utilised a high pressing game against Kazma, who are making their first appearance in the competition.
The Kuwaiti side, however, were quick on the counter-attack as they kept Mes Sungun on their toes and were always a danger going forward.

Bangkok: Nagoya Oceans of Japan showed their class as they came from behind to defeat Al Dhafra Sports and Cultural Club of the United Arab Emirates 4-2 in Group D of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Three-time champions Nagoya Oceans dominated the early play and had a look at goal in the third minute when captain Ryuta Hoshi found space down the middle but his long-range effort sailed over the bar.
In a split second, Al Dhafra were in the lead, when against the run of play, Fabio Daniel pounced on a mistake by Oceans’ defenders before sending an angled pass to Hatakeyama Bruno Takashi to stab home the opener.

Bangkok: Lebanon’s Bank of Beirut had to fight hard before seeing off Myanmar’s Victoria University College 4-2 in Group C of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Bank of Beirut had the lion’s share of possession from the start and they took just two minutes to find the back of the net.
Dragan Tomic got the ball rolling when his low drive from the edge of the area forced Victoria goalkeeper Pyae Phyo Aung into a save but the custodian spilled the ball onto the path of Ali Tneich who had the easiest of tap-ins.

Bangkok: Vamos FC of Indonesia got their AFC Futsal Championship Thailand 2019 Group C campaign off to a winning start but only after overcoming an inspiring fightback from Tajikistan’s Soro Company on Thursday.
Down 4-0, Soro Company fought back to draw level but conceded twice in the dying seconds as Vamos sealed a thrilling 6-4 win.
Both teams tried to dominate from the start but Vamos, who reached the quarter-finals last year, eased into the game quickly and laid down their marker in the second minute through Marvin Alexa Wossiry’s strike.
The Indonesian club showed their experience as Syahidansyah Lubis combined with Marvin, who sent a low shot past Soro Company goalkeeper Firuz Bekmurodov.

Naft Al Wasat flexed their muscles against Qatar’s Al Rayyan, as Angellott Alexander Garces’ four-goal haul powered them in their 9-4 victory at the Bangkok Stadium.
The Iraq club lead the Group B standings ahead of last year’s runners-up Thai Son Nam, who also recorded a commanding 4-1 win over Uzbekistan’s AGMK.

Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh’s hat-trick steered Shenzhen Nanling Tielang to an 8-3 victory over Kygryz Republic’s FC Erem in Group B while Port FC defeated FS Seoul of Korea Republic 3-0.
