Jakarta: Head coach Nurjan Djetybaev feels the experience gained at the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Indonesia 2026™ will shape the future of the game in Kyrgyz Republic.

The Central Asian side ended their campaign by edging Korea Republic 3-2 in a high-octane match for their first win after a 4-2 loss to Iraq and a 5-3 defeat to Indonesia.

Jakarta: Kyrgyz Republic secured a hard-fought 3-2 win over Korea Republic in a fast-paced AFC Futsal Asian Cup Indonesia 2026™ Group A match on Saturday.

The Central Asian side were made to work for their first three points by Paulo Fernandes’ men, who closed their campaign empty-handed.

The result meant that Indonesia and Iraq - who beat Korea Republic 3-2 earlier in the day - are assured of a top two finish with the two to square off on Saturday to decide the group winners.

Wins on Thursday will confirm their quarter-final tickets and set up an exciting face-off between the two for the group’s top spot on Saturday.
