Kuala Lumpur: Sam Kerr continued her scoring run in England as the Matildas captain struck a hat-trick for Chelsea against Paris FC in the UEFA Women’s Champions League during the midweek before netting again in a 5-2 win against Leicester City in the league on Sunday. 

Kanya Fujimoto produced the all-important winning goal as Gil Vicente progressed to the last 16 of Taca de Portugal at the expense of Serpa while his Japanese compatriot Hayao Kawabe was on the scoresheet in Standard Liege’s 1-0 defeat of Genk in Belgium on Saturday.
