Bangkok: Thailand recorded their second consecutive win in the AFC Futsal Championship 2014 Asean Zone qualifiers with a convincing 8-1 Victory over Brunei on Monday.
After scoring 20 goals past the Philippines, the Thais were relatively cautious against Group A bottom side Brunei who opened the scoring as early as in the first minute of the match through Muhammed Naqib.
But there were first half goals from Khongla Lakka, Kritsada Wongkaeo, Supahut Thueanklang Jetsada Chudech, Nawin Rattangwongswa and Patchaya Srimanta as the 2012 AFC Futsal Championship runners-up were cruising to a comfortable 6-1 lead in the first half.
Wongkaeo scored his second in the second half and Jirawat Sornwichian, who had scored four goals against the Philippines, also netted one in the second half.
