AFC Futsal C’ship 2014 (Qs): Timor Leste 1-8 Australia

Bangkok: Australia opened the AFC Futsal Championship 2014 Asean Zone qualifiers campaign with a promising note after thrashing Timor Leste 8-1 at the Bangkok Thonburi University.

Captain Gregory Giovenali scored a hattrick and Tobias Seeto netted a brace while Fernando Lima, Wade Giovenali and Dean Lockhart also scored a goal each for the Futsalroos.

Raymond Miller scored an own goal as Timor Leste’s consolation goal.
