Tashkent: Uzbekistan will get a chance to defend the title they won in 2012 as they marched into the finals of the AFC U-16 Championship 2014 after beating Yemen 4-0 to emerge top of Group B.
The all-conquering Uzbeks got six points from two matches in the group of three teams. Yemen, who opened the campaign with a convincing 3-1 win over the Palestine, finished second ahead of the rock-bottom Palestine.
Jonibek Kuchimov scored a brace for the hosts while there were also goals from Maruf Jumaev and Shokhrukh Mahmudxojiyev.
Uzbekistan are the reigning champions of the competition after they defeated Japan 3-1 in penalty shootout in the final played in the Pas Stadium of Tehran in 2012.
