AFC Women's Asian Cup India 2022 Qualifiers - Group F: Draw with Hong Kong ends Nepal's hopes

Tashkent: Nepal’s bid to reach a first AFC Women’s Asian Cup in over 20 years ended in disappointment after a goalless qualifying draw against Hong Kong at Tashkent’s JAR Stadium on Tuesday.

Needing a win to keep their hopes alive, Nepal were unable to break the deadlock over 90 hard-fought minutes, leaving Gary Phillips’ side with one point from two matches, with Friday’s Group F match between Hong Kong and Philippines to determine which team advances to next year’s Finals in India as group winners.
