Al Wahda's ten Cate wants more despite AFC Champions League victory over Al Rayyan
Goa: Al Wahda FSCC head coach Henk ten Cate has demanded more from his team following their 1-0 win over Qatar’s Al Rayyan SC in Group E of the 2021 AFC Champions League on Friday.
Having showed amazing spirit to come from two goals down to defeat the Qatar side 3-2 in their Matchday Three encounter, Al Wahda found it heavy going on Friday against an Al Rayyan team who ended the tie with nine men.
Omar Khrbin, the 2017 AFC Footballer of the Year, broke the deadlock from the penalty spot in the second half but there was late disappointment for Al Wahda as captain Ismael Matar was sent off in added time.
