The midfielder broke the deadlock at the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium on the stroke of halftime before sealing Al Ahed’s fourth Elite Cup two minutes into second-half stoppage time. While Al Nejmeh have won more Elite Cups than any other team with seven, Al Ahed have emerged as the tournament specialists having contested the last six finals since the competition returned to the Lebanese football calendar in 2008 after a two-year hiatus.
