The 29-year-old forward produced another fine performance as India saw off Nepal's challenge at Pokhara Stadium to finish their tournament with a perfect record of four wins.

Bala Devi, latching on to a long ball from deep in India's half, opened the scoring in the 18th minute as she scored for the fourth consecutive match.

The win took Nepal to 10 points, the same as Bhutan, but the hosts will have the psychological advantage of having won the pool stage match between the two 4-0.

Bhutan cruised past Sri Lanka 3-0 to move to nine points from four matches and they will play either Nepal or Bangladesh in Tuesday's final.

Hosts Nepal defeated Maldives 2-1 and play Bangladesh on Sunday with one foot in the final. Nepal are on seven points with a +5 goal difference and Bangladesh - on four points - need to win by six clear goals to make thein the final.

In the women’s event, India edged Nepal 1-0 in a dress rehearsal for Monday's final while Maldives defeated Sri Lanka 2-1 for their first win.

Maldives, meanwhile, registered their second consecutive draw as they came from behind to salvage a point against Bangladesh.
