London: Australia goalkeeper Adam Federici has signed a new three-year deal with English Premier League side Bournemouth.
The contract extension will see Federici stay at Bournemouth, nicknamed the Cherries, until the summer of 2019.
The 31-year-old custodian (pictured playing against Scotland), whose last appearance for his country was in last week’s 2-1 defeat to Greece, made six Premier League appearances for the Vitality Stadium outfit last season, and also featured during his side’s FA Cup and League Cup campaigns.
"Adam is a vastly experienced goalkeeper with both Premier League and international experience and we’re pleased to keep him with the club as we embark on our second Premier League season,” Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake told the club’s official website.
"Adam has been a consummate professional during his time here and we’re delighted to have secured his long term future with the club."
