Buenos Aires: Jordan succumbed in a 3-0 loss to Colombia during a friendly on Friday as part of their preparations for the AFC Asian Cup 2015 which will start in January.
The FIFA World Cup 2014 playing Colombians led the West Asians 1-0 at the half before empathically winning the game held at the Estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Argentiana.
James Rodriguez converted a penalty three minutes before the half-time whistle to take the lead. Another penalty, this time by Juan Cuadrado, doubled the lead on 83 minutes before Fredy GuarĂn rubbed more salt on the Jordanians’ wound one minute before full time.
Jordan have four more friendlies until the end of the year against Uzbekistan, China, Malaysia and Korea Republic to prepare for Australia 2015.
Japan will play Colombia on June 24 at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba in their final Group C fixture.
