Lee Seung-gi stars as Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors complete historic double with Korean FA Cup win

Jeonju: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors completed the domestic league and cup double for the first time in the club’s history on Sunday as Lee Seung-gi struck twice to hand Ulsan Hyundai a 2-1 defeat in the second leg of the 2020 Korean FA Cup final to secure a 3-2 aggregate victory.

Jeonbuk won the trophy for the first time since 2016 and the fourth time in total to add it to the K League title they won this year, when they also pipped Kim Do-hoon’s side to the crown.

The Korean FA Cup win means Jose Morais’ team will travel to Qatar for the 2020 AFC Champions League later this month looking to sweep the board of trophies available to them.

Dubai: A lone strike from Mohammed Al Romaihi helped Bahrain secure a 1-0 friendly win against Tajikistan at Dubai Police Officers Club Stadium on Saturday.
