PALESTINE VS SYRIA
This will be a meeting between teams who finished second in their respective groups, with Palestine being pipped to top spot in Group A by hosts Indonesia. Syria, meanwhile, finished second in Group C behind an impressive China PR.
Palestine advanced to the knockout stage undefeated, winning two and drawing two of their four matches while Syria were beaten 3-0 by China PR between wins over the United Arab Emirates and Timor-Leste.
Nothing much separates the two sides but Palestine having played one extra match in the group stage may make a difference.
