Riyadh: Saudi Arabia have announced an experienced squad to face Asia's best at the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
Looking to claim their fourth continental championship, the side features a host of familiar names including long-time captain Saud Kariri, 2014 AFC Player of the Year Nassir Al Shamrani and Gulf Cup of Nations MVP Nawaf Al Abid.
The Green Falcons will be under the guidance of new coach Cosmin Olaroiu after Juan Ramon Lopez Caro was sacked following Saudi Arabia's Gulf Cup final loss to Qatar last month.
Olaroiu will have a chance to run his eye over his side in friendly matches against Bahrain on December 30 and Korea Republic on January 4.
The side will then kick off their AFC Asian Cup campaign against China PR on January 10 before facing Uzbekistan and DPR Korea as they look to return to the knockout phase of the competition having bowed out at the group stage at the 2011 tournament.
