Almeria: Thailand international Teerasil Dangda made his league debut for La Liga side Almeria on Saturday when he came on as a second-half substitute during a 1-1 draw with Espanyol.
The 26-year-old, who is on a twelve-month loan from Thai Premier League side Muangthong United replaced goalscorer Fernando Soriano after 66 minutes, before Espnayol ensured a share of the points through Sergio Garcia’s last gasp equaliser.
Teerasil, scorer of 29 goals in 60 appearances for his country, joined the Spanish top-flight outfit following an unsuccessful trial with Atletico Madrid last year.
The talented striker also had a spell with Manchester City when former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra owned the club between June 2007 and September 2008.
