Gosford: The Central Coast Mariners have announced signing Australian attacker Tommy Oar, who has put pen-to-paper on a two-year-deal with the club.
Oar will wear Yellow & Navy until at least the end of the A-League 2019/20 season after most recently plying his trade with APOEL FC in Cyprus.
The move marks Oar’s third stint in the A-League after representing FC Utrecht and Ipswich Town between his two campaigns with Brisbane Roar.
The 26-year-old speedster has appeared 28 times for the Socceroos, which includes involvement in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2015 AFC Asian Cup where Australia were crowned Champions of Asia.
Oar’s experience in Europe includes a UEFA Europa League appearance for Utrecht against Liverpool at Anfield and a UEFA Champions League appearance for APOEL against SK Slavia Prague.

This marks the 30-year-old's first transfer since his professional debut with Jeju United in 2011.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester City striker will don the No. 11 jersey for the Dubai-based club and looks to have joined in time for their third match in the UAE Pro League, as they take on reigning champions Al Ain.

Kuala Lumpur: The Newcastle Jets have signed Brazilian Jair Eduardo Britto da Silva, who joins the club on a one-year deal for the A-League 2018/19 season.
The Brazilian attacker has signed for the Jets following a short stint with Yanbian Funde FC in China League One.
The 30 year-old has spent much of his career in the K-League, including stints with Jeju United and the Jeonnam Dragons – netting 46 goals in 110 appearances in South Korea’s top flight competition.
Jair also enjoyed loan stints with the Emirates Club in the UAE and Japan’s Kashima Antlers.
Jets boss, Ernie Merrick said the dynamic attacker was a welcome addition for the 2018/19 campaign.
“Jair has great experience, attacking flair and has played at a couple of Korea’s biggest clubs,” Merrick said.

Bochum: Korea Republic international Lee Chung-yong has signed with Germany's VFL Bochum from Crystal Palace.
This move marks Lee's fourth club, having previously played for FC Seoul, Bolton Wanderers and Crystal Palace.
The 30-year-old offensive all-rounder is known as the 'Blue Dragon' back in Korea Republic, having donned the Taeguk Warriors' jersey 79 times, and scoring eight goals in the English Premier League.

Jamshedpur: Indian Super League side Jamshedpur FC have announced the signing of Australian legend Tim Cahill.
Cahill, who retired from international after the 2018 FIFA World Cup, plays as an attacking midfielder but can also play as a forward. A box-to-box midfielder, Cahill, 38, is recognised for his aggressive and powerful approach and his ability to head the ball in the penalty area.
Cahill comes with a lot of rich footballing experience, having scored 168 goals in 694 club appearances in his illustrious career. The Aussie had long spells for Premier League heavyweights Everton and Championship club Millwall.
Later, he went on to play for New York RedBulls in the MLS, Shanghai Shenhua & Hangzhou Greentown in the CSL and Melbourne City in the A-League. Cahill is also the all-time leading goal scorer for the Socceroos, having scored 50 goals in 107 international caps between 2004 and 2018.

Hamburg: Germany's Hamburger SV have announced signing Korea Republic international Hwang Hee-chan on a one-year loan deal from FC Redbull Salzburg.
The 22-year-old, who has been playing for the Austrian champions since January 2016, has joined the Rothosen as a replacement for Jairo Samperio, who is injured.
In the past two and a half years, the 1.77-metre-tall Hwang completed played 86 games for Salzburg, scoring 29 goals and making seven assists.
In the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, Hwang played in all three games for the Taeguk Warriors.
