Jraidi shines as Al Ahli fight back to clinch second SAFF Women’s Cup

Riyadh: Ibtissam Jraidi praised her team's grit after Al Ahli Saudi FC came from behind to defeat Al Qadsiah 2-1 to secure their second consecutive SAFF Women’s Cup on Wednesday.

Rahaf Al Mansouri gave Al Qadsiah the lead in the 18th minute, but the defending champions responded with a comeback led by Jraidi. 

Turning in a captain’s performance, the Moroccan set up the equaliser for Naomie Kabakaba just before the interval and netted the winner in the 50th minute to seal the victory and claim the top scorer award.
