Cedric Bakambu leaves Beijing FC

Beijing: Congo striker Cedric Bakambu has left Beijing FC after his contract with the Chinese Super League club was cancelled by mutual consent.

Beijing published a farewell message to the former Villarreal forward on their official social media account on Tuesday following the decision by both parties to end Bakambu’s four-year contract with the club one month early.

“We cherish your name in our hearts – Cedric Bakambu,” the post on the club’s Weibo account said. “Hope you never forget.”
