History maker Saud joins Roma, Cancelo arrives at Al Hilal

Roma: Saud Abdulhamid has created history by becoming the first Saudi Arabian player to sign for a Serie A club - with the full-back’s signing confirmed by AS Roma on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old started his career with Al Ittihad before moving to Al Hilal SFC in 2022, winning the Saudi Pro League title with both clubs.

Abdulhamid started all four matches for Saudi Arabia in their run to the Round of 16 of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™, having also won the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ title in 2022.
