Qualifiers Final Round Group F: Kyrgyz Republic 0-0 Tajikistan
Bishkek: Tajikistan qualified for their first ever AFC Asian Cup™, while Kyrgyz Republic secured a return to the continental Finals as the two sides played out a goalless draw in the Final Round Qualifiers Group F finale on Tuesday.
Results elsewhere on Tuesday meant both sides had done enough to qualify even before a ball was kicked at Dolen Omurzakov Stadium, but they nonetheless showed a fierce desire to earn bragging rights over their regional rivals.
While Kyrgyz Republic had the better of the chances, it was a night to cherish for Tajikistan who had been trying to reach Asia’s biggest national event since 1996, and finally succeeded as group winners in Bishkek.
With seven points apiece, it was goal difference that separated the Central Asian duo, with Tajikistan edging out their Kyrgyz rivals, just as they had done in Qatar 2022 qualifying.

Bishkek: Ikhsan Fandi scored a blistering hat-trick as Singapore ended their AFC Asian Cup 2023™ Qualifiers Final Round campaign in style with a 6-2 win against Myanmar at Dolen Omurzakov Stadium on Tuesday.
With both sides already eliminated, the attackers thrived, none more so than Ikhsan, who opened the scoring in the ninth minute before adding two more goals after half-time to register his first treble at senior international level.
The goal-laden result meant Singapore finished their campaign third in Group F, while Myanmar finished without a point having lost all three matches in Bishkek.
Qualifiers Final Round Group B: Palestine 4-0 Philippines
Ulaabaatar: Palestine claimed top spot in Group B with a perfect record and a ticket to their third consecutive AFC Asian Cup™ after their 4-0 win over Philippines on Matchday Three of the AFC Asian Cup 2023™ Qualifiers Final Round at MFF Stadium on Tuesday.
A pair of headers from Saleh Chihadeh and Tamer Seyam gave the Azkals a mountain to climb at the break before Mohammed Yamin added a third from a corner and Mahmoud Abuwarda fired in the team’s fourth to settle matters.
The result sees Palestine once again defeat the Philippines to qualify for the continent’s premier national team competition, having first done so by defeating the Southeast Asians at the final of the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup.
Qualifiers Final Round Group B: Yemen 0-2 Mongolia
Ulaanbaatar: A Ganbayar Ganbold brace helped Mongolia round off their AFC Asian Cup 2023™ Qualifiers Final Round campaign with a well-deserved 2-0 win over Yemen at the MFF Stadium on Tuesday that saw the East Asians leapfrog their opponents to finish third in Group B.
Back-to-back losses had ended hosts Mongolia’s chances of reaching the AFC Asian Cup Finals before the Matchday Three encounter but they opened the scoring inside 10 minutes through Ganbayar and then doubled their advantage when their Europe-based star again found the back of the net early in the second half.
Yemen pushed to get back into the game but were met with stubborn Mongolian resistance as the West Asians' second successive defeat ended their chances of finishing second in the standings and remaining in the hunt for a place at the continental competition.

Keo Sokpheng’s 81st minute header secured a well-earned draw for Ryu Hirose’s side after Faysal Shayesteh and Mustafa Zazai had given the Afghans a two-goal lead before Brak Thiva’s perfectly struck free-kick handed Cambodia hope before the interval.

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia booked their place in the AFC Asian Cup 2023™ after unleashing their attacking prowess against Bangladesh in a 4-1 win in their final Qualifiers Group E match at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Tuesday.
The result saw them cement their second place finish in the group to return to the AFC Asian Cup for the first time since co-hosting in 2007, while Bangladesh remained bottom on no points as Kim Pan-goon’s Malaysia did enough to ensure they will finish as one of the five best runners-up to advance.
