Thailand’s Rakphol, Vietnam’s Giustozzi satisfied with group stage performances

Jakarta: Rakhphol Sainetngam and Diego Giustozzi expressed satisfaction with how Thailand and Vietnam respectively performed in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Indonesia 2026™ group stage.

Krit Aransanyalak’s 36th minute strike secured Thailand a 1-0 win against their ASEAN rivals as they topped Group B with nine points, with both sides advancing to the quarter-finals.

Jakarta: Head coach Bruno Garcia believes Kuwait have learnt much from their AFC Futsal Asian Cup Indonesia 2026™ campaign.

His side closed Group B with a lop-sided 7-2 win over fellow West Asian side Lebanon, with six different players finding the back of the net from the eighth minute onwards.

Kuwait had opened their competition with a 5-4 loss to Vietnam and then fell 6-1 to Thailand.
