Chen and Lo hit the high notes

Lo opened the scoring five minutes into the game at the Cheras Indoor Stadium and added another in nine minutes and after Lo Chih-an and Hsieh Meng-hsuan both struck in the 15^th minute Lo Chih-en completed his hat-trick two minutes later to give Chinese Taipei a commanding five-goal lead going into the break.

Weng wei-pin made in six three minutes after the interval before Chen Po-hao struck a quickfire hat-trick, scoring twice in the 24^th minute and a third three minutes later as the goals continued to flow.

Lo Chi-en got his fourth and Chinese Taipei's tenth 60 seconds after Chen completed his treble and after Shih Shin-an got his name on the scoresheet in the 37^th minute Chen got his fourth with a minute left on the clock.

There was still time for one more goal but it was to come from Macau, with Leong Chong In scoring a consolation on the stroke of full-time.
