Hong Kong: Hong Kong downed Myanmar 2-0 on Wednesday in a closed door international friendly to win their first game on home soil in almost three years, with two goals in a minute in the first half earning Jorn Andersen’s AFC Asian Cup 2023™-bound side victory at Mongkok Stadium.

Hong Kong had not played at home since a 2-0 victory over Cambodia in the opening round of Asia’s preliminaries for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 in November 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but made light work of their visitors.
