Al Baadani credits right tactics for Yemen’s impressive start

Pathum Thani: Yemen head coach Mohammed Hasan Ali Al Baadani said his team’s homework paid off handsomely in their 4-0 win over Malaysia in Group A of the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Thailand 2023 on Thursday. 

Yemen produced a sparkling performance at the Thammasat Stadium and with three points in the bag, will be aiming to edge closer to the knockout stage when they play Laos on Sunday.

Group A: Yemen 4-0 Malaysia

Pathum Thani: Yemen cruised to an opening 4-0 win over Malaysia in Group A of the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Thailand 2023 on Thursday. 

First half goals from Abdulrahman Al Khadher and Adel Qasem laid the foundation for Yemen to earn the three points, with Anwar Al Turaiqi adding the third before Malaysia’s Adib Ibrahim Adnan scored an own goal for the emphatic win.
