Tajikistan are the early birds through, having qualified as Group C winners in October while Group G, which swung into action on Saturday, saw Matchday Three action.

Group A of the Qualifiers - featuring Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Kuwait and Pakistan - has been postponed with new dates to be announced in due course.

The 11 group winners and four best runners-up will join hosts Uzbekistan in the 2020 Finals.

Should Uzbekistan finish either top of Group F of the Qualifiers or are among the best four second-placed teams, the fifth best runners-up will qualify.

Tajikistan have already secured their place in the 2020 Finals as Group C winners, after registering a perfect record of three wins against Lebanon, Syria and Maldives in October. 

Nine of the remaining 10 groups will be in action till November 10, with the group winners sealing automatic spots in the Finals.

Forward Shahrom Samiev's 23rd minute goal proved to be the difference as the hosts ended their qualifying campaign with a perfect record of three wins, having scored 11 goals and conceded none.

Lebanon, meanwhile, finished second ahead of Syria on goal difference after a 2-0 win over Maldives earlier on Sunday.

Thailand were simply unstoppable as they registered a 9-0 win over Brunei Darussalam while Cambodia, defeated 5-4 by Malaysia on Matchday One, also beat Northern Mariana Islands 9-0.

Malaysia, reduced to nine players by the 59th minute, survived a late Cambodian revival to win 5-4, while Brunei saw off a spirited Northern Mariana Islands 4-3 at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.

It was a dramatic end to a final which had seen India reduced to 10 men and Bangladesh nine.

The final started promisingly for India, who took the lead in just the second minute through Vikram Partap Singh.

Beaten 4-2 by UAE just six days prior, Iraq overcame the sending off of Abdulrazzaq Kadah to force the shootout, where they netted four of their five penalties to secure the trophy.

Earlier, Jordan claimed a 3-0 win over host nation Palestine to finish the tournament in third place.
