Qualifiers - Group A: Syria 10-1 Guam; Bangladesh 1-4 Vietnam

Hai Phong: Syria made it three wins out of three after cruising 10-1 past Guam in their AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers Group A tie at the Lach Tray Stadium on Friday.

In the group’s other game, Vietnam defeated Bangladesh 4-1 to set up a final day showdown with Syria.

#AFCU20 Qualifiers - MD4: Results & Reports

Kuala Lumpur: DPR Korea, Islamic Republic of Iran and Korea Republic emerged as the first teams to book their spots for the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 after topping their respective groups on Friday.

DPR Korea were the first to qualify as the three-time champions confirmed their ticket after a 1-0 win against Oman gave them an unassailable lead at the top of Group E.

Korea Republic punched their ticket shortly after, a 3-1 win against the United Arab Emirates confirming the record 12-time champions as the Group C winners while Iran are assured of the Group G top spot after edging India 1-0.

There is, however, still much to play for as 12 berths at the Finals remain available with all to be decided on Sunday.

Buriram: Iraq secured their second win after beating Philippines 2-0 in their AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers Group H match on Friday.

The other game saw Thailand boosting their qualification chances following an emphatic 13-0 win over Brunei Darussalam, with their showdown against Iraq on Sunday to decide the group winners.

Qualifiers - Group F: Maldives 0-3 Yemen; Timor-Leste 1-3 Indonesia

Jakarta: Yemen secured their second win in a row after defeating Maldives 3-0 in their AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers Group F tie at the Madya Stadium on Friday.

Hosts Indonesia also notched their second victory after defeating Timor-Leste 3-1, and their meeting with Yemen on Sunday will decide the Group F winners.

Qualifiers - Group B: Bahrain 4-0 Nepal; Chinese Taipei 1-3 Uzbekistan

New Taipei: Uzbekistan moved within a point of confirming their ticket to the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Finals after a comprehensive 3-1 win against Chinese Taipei on Friday. 

The win took the Central Asian side to nine points and avoiding defeat against Bahrain - who revived their hopes with a 4-0 win against Nepal in the earlier tie on Friday - will confirm Uzbekistan as the group winners.

R16: IR Iran's hopes dashed by Morocco

Bukhara: Morocco booked their ticket to the quarter-finals after coming from behind to defeat  Islamic Republic of Iran 4-3 in their FIFA Futsal World Cup Uzbekistan 2024 Round of 16 tie on Thursday.

Iran took an early lead at the Bukhara Universal Sports Complex before but soon found themselves chasing the game as Morocco struck four times in the first half. 

The Central Asian side mounted a spirited comeback to reduce the deficit to 4-3 in the second half but then missed a penalty at the death as Morocco held on to seal the win and will face Brazil in the quarter-finals.
