Amman: Saudi Arabia U-20 team, preparing for the AFC U-19 Championship 2012, entered into the final of the ongoing Arab U-20 Cup after beating Libya 3-1 in the semi-final held at Amman International Stadium on Sunday.
Fahd Mosaed fired a brace in the 37th and 84th minutes to fashion Saudi’s come-from-behind win after Libya’s Mohammed Errishi’s penalty put Libya 1-0 in front in the 18th minute.
Saudi will take on Tunisia in the final to be held on Wednesday at the Amman International Stadium. Ten-man Tunisia defeated Algeria 3-2 in another semi-final held at King Abdullah Stadium.
Saudi Arabia are in Group D of the AFC U-19 Championship with Australia, Syria, and Qatar keeping them company and will face the Syrians in their first match on November 4.
