Yangon: The AFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2017 ticket available from Group C qualifying will now be contested between Thailand and Myanmar after both sides recorded wins on Thursday.
The Thais and qualifying group hosts Myanmar thrashed Palestine 9-0 and Kyrgyzstan 4-0 respectively, effectively ending their opponents’ hopes of qualifying for the eight-team tournament to be held in China PR.
The winner of the Thailand-Myanmar game on Saturday will complete the line-up for the tournament where direct entrants Japan, DPR Korea, Korea Republic and China as well as teams participating via qualifying - Australia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam - await.
