Qualifiers - Group I: Tajikistan 2-1 Laos

Dushanbe: Tajikistan will take on Australia to decide the top team in Group I of the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024 Qualifiers after a late 2-1 win over Laos on Saturday.

Australia defeated Laos 7-1 on Matchday One of the three-team group, setting the stage for a thriller on Tuesday.

#AFCU23 Qatar 2024 Qualifiers: MD2 Results & Reports

Kuala Lumpur: Vietnam were the first team to book their place in the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024™ Finals after a 1-0 win over Yemen on Saturday assured them of top spot in Group C of the Qualifiers. 

Vietnam join hosts Qatar in next April's Finals but 14 places remain up for grabs after the conclusion of Saturday's Matchday Two.

Qualifiers - Group A: Brunei Darussalam 0-11 Syria; Oman 0-1 Jordan

Zarqa City: Jordan closed in on a place in the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 after edging Oman 1-0 in Group A of the Qualifiers on Saturday.  

The win took Jordan to six points and they will confirm their place in the Finals by avoiding defeat against Syria, who revived their hopes by beating Brunei Darussalam 11-0, when the two teams meet on Tuesday.

Qualifiers - Group C: Guam 1-1 Singapore; Yemen 0-1 Vietnam

Viet Tri City: Vietnam emerged as the Group C winners after they secured a 1-0 win over Yemen on Matchday Two of the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 Qualifiers at Viet Tri Stadium on Saturday.

Earlier, Singapore were held to a 1-1 draw by a defiant Guam side that left both teams on just one point after two rounds of matches.

Arad: Japan took a firm grip on Group D of the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 Qualifiers with a 1-0 win over Palestine on Saturday.

The victory took Japan to six points and avoiding defeat against Bahrain, who revived their hopes with a 3-1 defeat of Pakistan, on Tuesday will confirm the 2016 champions their spot in the Qatar 2024 Finals.

Tashkent: Islamic Republic of Iran and Uzbekistan set-up an exciting battle for top spot following impressive wins over Afghanistan and Hong Kong, China respectively in Group E of the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 Qualifiers at the Lokomotiv Stadium on Saturday.

Iran produced a sparkling display to defeat Afghanistan 4-0 while Uzbekistan showed their class after scoring 10 unanswered goals against Hong Kong, China.

Qualifiers - Group F: Timor-Leste 0-6 Iraq; Macau 0-3 Kuwait

Kuwait City: Iraq secured their second straight big win in Group F, beating Timor Leste 6-0 in the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ 2024 Qualifiers on Saturday.

In the other game, Kuwait's improved second half display earned them a 3-0 win over Macau, a result which means they will face off with Iraq to decide the group winners on Tuesday.

Qualifiers - Group G: China PR 2-1 India

Dalian: China PR snatched a late 2-1 win against India in their AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 Qualifiers Group G fixture at the Dalian Suoyuwan Stadium on Saturday.

The opening 45 minutes ended goalless but China PR broke the deadlock in the 68th minute, before overcoming a late own goal to seal the win.
