Qualifiers - Group H: Malaysia 2-2 Australia; Laos 0-3 Indonesia

Vientiane: Indonesia moved into pole position in Group H with a 3-0 win against Laos while Malaysia and Australia shared a thrilling 2-2 draw in the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027™ Qualifiers on Thursday.

Indonesia are on four points, ahead of Australia on goal difference while Malaysia are two points adrift with one more round of matches to come on Sunday.

Kuala Lumpur: The AFC Women’s Champions League 2026/27™ is set for take-off following the conclusion of the Group Stage Draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.

Kuala Lumpur: Korea Republic international Hwang Hee-chan sealed a loan move to Schalke 04, while Moussa Diaby ended his spell with Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad Club to return to Bayer Leverkusen on transfer deadline day for European clubs on Tuesday.

Also making a switch were Japan internationals Yukinari Sugawara and Kota Takai, while Australia forward Kusini Yengi joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima on loan.

Vientiane: Defending champions Australia kicked off their AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027™ Qualifiers Group H campaign with a 2-0 win against Laos on Monday.

Indonesia and Malaysia played to a goalless draw in the earlier match.

Kuala Lumpur: Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Japan international Atsuki Ito from Belgian side KAA Gent on a three-year deal.

Suzuki completes Villa switch; Qadsiah powered by Reijnders

Kuala Lumpur: Aston Villa announced on Wednesday they have signed Japan international goalkeeper Zion Suzuki while Al Qadsiah Club have strengthened with the capture of Dutch international Tijani Reijnders.

Suzuki joins the reigning Europa League champions on a permanent transfer for a reported fee of around 35 million euros ($40 million) from Serie A outfit Parma.

Born in the United States, Suzuki made his debut for Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds aged 18. Following a short stint in Belgium with Sint-Truiden, he spent the past two seasons with Italian side Parma.
