Buenos Aires: Asia's representatives will face some of the world's best when futsal makes its debut at the Buenos Aires Summer Youth Olympic Games in October.
The draw for the men's U-18 tournament saw Islamic Republic of Iran, Asia's top futsal nation, being drawn in Group B alongside Solomon Islands, Costa Rica, Russia and South American powerhouse Brazil.
Iraq, Asia's second representatives, were drawn in Group A with hosts Argentina, Egypt, Panama and Slovakia.
For the women's draw, Thailand are in Group A with Trinidad & Tobago, Spain, Bolivia and Tonga while Japan will have Chile, Portugal, Dominican Republic and Cameroon for company in Group B.
The two competitions will kick off on October 7, with the women’s final on October 17 and men's a day later.
