Qarshi: Uzbekistan’s PFC Nasaf became the final team to confirm their spot in the AFC Women’s Champions League 2026/27™ Group Stage after defeating Banaat FC 7-0 on Sunday.

The win saw Nasaf stay perfect in Group C with three wins and head coach Botir Kodirkulov can start looking forward to bettering last season’s run to the quarter-finals.

Kuala Lumpur: Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan have discovered their paths in the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 Playoff Tournament, with the two sides aiming to further increase Asia’s representation at the global showpiece.

The preliminary phase draw, conducted in Zurich on Thursday, placed the AFC representatives among six teams battling for two places in the final phase of the Inter-Confederation Playoffs.

Qarshi: It’s advantage to PFC Nasaf after they claimed their second win in the AFC Women’s Champions League 2026/27™ Preliminary Stage with a 3-0 victory against Royal Thimphu College FC on Thursday.

The win means that Nasaf will head into their final Group C match on Sunday against UAE’s Banaat FC holding a two-point lead and only needing to avoid defeat to progress to the group stage.
