Riyadh: It wasn't a vintage performance but Jorge Jesus was more than happy after Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr Club booked their ticket to the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26™ quarter-finals on Wednesday.

Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s first half strike meant a 2-0 win on aggregate for Al Nassr against Turkmenistan's FK Arkadag, with the tactician looking at the bigger picture with his side also chasing the Saudi Pro League title.

Riyadh: Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s first half strike completed the job as Al Nassr Club advanced  into the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26™ with a 1-0 win over FK Arkadag in the second leg of their Round of 16 match at the King Saud University Stadium on Wednesday.

The Saudi Pro League side, who advanced 2-0 on aggregate, will meet United Arab Emirates' Al Wasl.

Doha: Al Ittihad Club turned in a dominant performance to beat Al Sadd SC 4-1 in their final AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ tie at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday.

The Saudi Arabia side finished fourth in the West Zone standings with Al Saad also qualifying after taking the last Round of 16 spot following fellow Qatari side Al Gharafa SC’s defeat to Tractor FC.

Riyadh: Simone Inzaghi saw plenty of positives from Al Hilal SFC’s 2-1 win against Al Wahda FC in their AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ tie on Monday which saw the Saudi Arabia side top the West Zone standings for the second season running. 

The Italian tactician gave minutes to fringe players and was rewarded with good performances as the former Serie A winning head coach juggled the demands of domestic and continental matches.

Jeddah: Al Ahli Saudi FC head coach Matthias Jaissle admitted he had not anticipated a dramatic end after his side staved off a late fightback to defeat Shabab Al Ahli 4-3 in their concluding AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ tie on Monday.

Having already confirmed qualification, Jaissle’s squad rotation seemed to have worked out after the defending champions raced to a 4-0 lead.  

Shabab Al Ahli, however, kept going to come within a goal of salvaging a point, with Jaissle relieved that time ran out for the United Arab Emirates side.

Riyadh:  Al Hilal SFC capped a sterling AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ League Stage with a 2-1 win against Al Wahda FC on Monday.

It was a near-perfect campaign for Simone Inzaghi’s Saudi Arabian side with this being their seventh win as they finished on 22 points, with United Arab Emirates’ Al Wahda eight adrift but also through to the Round of 16.

Jeddah:  Al Ahli Saudi FC defeated Shabab Al Ahli 4-3 in their concluding AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ tie at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium on Monday.

The victory for the defending champions means Al Ahli look set to finish second in the standings while defeat didn’t prove costly for Shabab Al Ahli as they were confirmed of their Round of 16 spot following fellow UAE side Sharjah FC’s shock defeat to PFC Nasaf of Uzbekistan.
