Ardhiyah: Ardhiyah: Nebojsa Jovovic was basking in glory after seeing Kuwait SC battle their way to the AFC Challenge League 2025/26™ title on Wednesday.

His side looked to be down and out after trailing 2-0 and 3-2 to Cambodia's Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC in a classic showdown but Jovovic managed to get the best out of his players as they fought back to claim a 4-3 win in front of their fans at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.

Ardhiyah: Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC were left to once again endure heartbreak after a dramatic extra-time defeat to Kuwait SC in the AFC Challenge League 2025/26™ final on Wednesday.

The Cambodian side, who also fell at the same stage last year, twice led the pulsating contest at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium but couldn’t hold on as Kuwait SC lifted the trophy with a 4-3 win. 

Head coach McConkey admitted that his team had opportunities to close out the game and were punished for not doing so.

Ardhiyah: Amr Abd El Fattah Ammouri was named the Most Valuable Player of the AFC Challenge League 2025/26™ after producing a series of sparkling performances in Kuwait SC’s title-winning campaign.

In Wednesday's final against Cambodia’s Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, the Egyptian provided two assists as Kuwait SC battled back from 2-0 down in the first half to level the score at 2-2.

Ammouri then came to Kuwait SC’s rescue in extra time, cancelling out Cristian’s 96th-minute strike before Yousef Al Sulaiman’s winner secured a well-deserved victory for the Kuwaiti club.
