Group C: Safa SC (LBN) 2-2 Al Arabi SC (KUW)

Bishkek: Al Arabi SC overturned a two-goal deficit to hold Safa SC to a 2-2 draw in their AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Group C opener on Saturday.

Lebanon’s Safa scored twice late in the first half but a red card to Abbas Assi saw momentum swing the other way as Kuwait’s Al Arabi pulled level before also finishing the game with 10 men following Nabil Marmouk’s sending off.

Bishkek: Tajikistan’s FC Regar-TadAZ and FC Muras United of Kyrgyz Republic settled for a goalless draw in their opening AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Group C match on Saturday.

The stalemate meant all four teams ended Matchday One with a point each as Lebanon’s Safa SC and Al Arabi SC of Kuwait played to a 2-2 draw in the earlier match.

Thimphu: Altyn Asyr FC took advantage of a 10-men FC Abdysh-Ata to eke out a 1-0 win in their opening AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Group A fixture on Saturday.

The tournament debutants from Turkmenistan settled the tie at the Changlimithang Stadium with a goal from Myrat Annayev five minutes after the more-dominant Abdysh-Ata’s Khristiyan Brauzman was flashed the red card.

Thimphu: Al Shabab Club held off a fighting Paro FC of Bhutan to earn a 1-0 win in their opening AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Group A clash on Saturday.

Kenean Maleko’s first-half penalty at Changlimithang Stadium gave the Oman side the  three points as they made their debut in the group stage of an AFC competition.

Sulaibikhat: Kuwait SC came from behind to defeat Al Ansar FC 3-2 in their AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Group B opener on Saturday.

Ahmad Al Dhefiri cancelled out Hichem Khalfallah ’s opening effort, before goals from Mohammad Daham and Yousef Al Sulaiman put Nebojsa Jovovic’s Kuwait SC ahead. Mohamad Hebous pulled one back but Kuwait SC held on for the points.

Sulaibikhat: Oman’s Al Seeb Club secured a thrilling 3-2 win against Bashundhara Kings of Bangladesh in their AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Group B tie on Saturday.

The AFC Cup™ 2022 champions were given a testing time by Bashundhara before Abdulaziz Almaqbali’s winner settled the contest.
