ACL2020 MD2 Toyota Player of the Week: Teruhito Nakagawa
Kuala Lumpur: Yokohama F.Marinos' Teruhito Nakagawa has been named the Toyota Player of the Week for Matchday Two of the 2020 AFC Champions League.
Yokohama F. Marinos forward Teruhito Nakagawa netted a brace to help the J.League champions ease past Australia's Sydney FC 4-0 at home in Wednesday's Group H tie as the 27-year-old picked up this week's top player plaudit.
Nakagawa's two goals came from two shots on target, with his first effort, a deft chip over Sydney FC goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne, nominated for Goal of the Week. The wide forward also created three chances for his teammates.

Chiang Rai: Matchwinner Wang Ziming believes Beijing FC got their 2020 campaign off to the best possible start after his goal edged the Chinese side past AFC Champions League debutants Chiangrai United of Thailand on Tuesday.
Wang's close-range finish on 23 minutes was the tie's only goal in the 1-0 scoreline at The Power of Chiangrai Stadium, with Beijing FC taking home maximum points from their first Group E outing after sitting out the Matchday One games the previous week.

Dubai: Head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena had no complaints despite Shabab Al Ahli Dubai suffering a 2-1 defeat to defending champions Al Hilal SFC in Group B of the AFC Champions League 2020 at the Rashid Stadium on Monday.
The home side failed to hold on to their 24th minute lead through Youssef Jaber as a brace from Bafetimbi Gomis steered Al Hilal to their second win in the competition as Shabab Al Ahli suffered their second consecutive defeat.
