Sharjah strike late to book final berth

Sharjah: Sharjah FC struck twice in time added on to defeat Saudi Arabia’s Al Taawoun FC 2-0 in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 semi-final second leg on Tuesday. 

Ousmane Camara and Firas Ben Arbi were the heroes as Sharjah advanced 2-1 on aggregate to book a final meeting with either Australia’s Sydney FC or Lion City Sailors FC of Singapore.

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will be represented by 15 world-class match officials at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 between June 14 and July 13.

Jeddah: Pak Ju Won made a storybook debut for DPR Korea against Indonesia at the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 quarter-finals on Monday.

The forward, who was not in the starting 11 during the group stage, came on in the 74th minute, and with his first and only shot three minutes later, netted the final goal in their outstanding 6-0 win over the Southeast Asian side.
