Soreang: A last-gasp Willen Mota goal earned Thailand’s Port FC a 1-0 win over Persib Bandung of Indonesia in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 Group F match on Thursday.

In an evenly contested match between two Southeast Asian sides, Mota was the game-changer after his introduction midway through the second half as he sealed the three points for the Thai League 1 side.

Group H: Dynamic Herb Cebu FC (PHI) 0-6 Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (KOR)

Manila: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors made a winning start to Group H of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 on Thursday as the K League 1 side eased to a comprehensive 6-0 win over Dynamic Herb Cebu FC from the Philippines in Manila’s Rizal Memorial Stadium.

First half goals from Jin Tae-ho, Kim Chang-hun and Moon Seon-min sent Kim Do-heon’s team on their way to a comfortable victory with Bak Jae-yong adding a fourth three minutes into the second half.

Yu Je-ho and Park Chae-jun completed the scoring as the pair netted in the 74th and 77th minutes respectively.

Sydney: Debutant Anas Ouahim scored twice as Sydney FC eased to an opening 5-0 win over Eastern FC from Hong Kong, China in Group E of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 at Jubilee Stadium in Sydney on Thursday.

The Moroccan put his new club in front in the 32nd minute before hitting the third 10 minutes after the restart with captain Rhyan Grant having doubled the lead a minute before the end of the first half.

While a missed penalty in the 62nd minute took some of the shine off the performance of Patryk Klimala, another recent arrival, a pair of own goals from Daniel Almazan and Leung Chun Pong confirmed a comfortable victory for Sydney.
