Kraljevic’s tactical shift sparks triumph

Singapore: Marko Kraljevic’s change of strategy earned Hougang United of Singapore a 2-1 win over Vietnam’s Hai Phong FC in Group H of the AFC Cup™ 2023/24 at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Thursday.

Bali: Sabah’s game plan proved highly effective as they secured their second straight AFC Cup™ 2023/2024 win, beating Indonesia’s PSM Makassar 5-0 in Thursday’s meeting at Captain 1 Wayan Dipta Stadium.

The win took Sabah to the top of Group H, three points ahead of Singapore’s Hougang United and Vietnam’s Hai Phong FC with a healthy goal difference to boot, much to the delight of head coach Ong Kim Swee.
