Group B: Kuwait SC (KUW) 0-1 Al Kahrabaa Club (IRQ)

Kuwait City: Al Kahrabaa SC of Iraq boosted their chances of advancing to the knockout stage of the AFC Cup™ 2023/24 after a  1-0 win over Kuwait SC on Tuesday.

The win kept the Iraqis top of Group B heading into Matchday Six where they will be confident of clinching the ticket to the West Zonal semi-finals.

Group B: Al Ittihad Al Ahli Aleppo (SYR) 0-2 Al Wehdat SC (JOR)

Ta'if: Al Wehdat SC beat Syria's Al Ittihad Al Ahli Aleppo 2-0 in Group B of the AFC Cup™ 2023/24 at King Fahd Sports City on Tuesday.

The win took Al Wehdat to nine points, with the Jordanian side to face Kuwait SC on December 11.
 
Iraq's Al Kahrabaa Club lead Group B with 10 points,  having defeated Kuwait SC 1-0 earlier on Tuesday. The best runners-up from the three West Zone groups will also advance to the knockout stage.

Riyadh: Al Nassr head coach Luis Castro and his Persepolis FC counterpart Yahya Golmohammadi were content despite their teams settling for a goalless draw in their AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 Group E tie on Monday.

The point was enough for Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr to confirm top spot and a place in the Round of 16 while Persepolis' hopes now depend on defeating Al Duhail SC next week to advance as one of the three best runners-up from the West Zone.

Tehran: Jose Morais applauded his Sepahan FC players after the Islamic Republic of Iran side worked hard for a 1-0 win over Air Force Club in the AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 on Monday.

Sepahan, having taken a fourth minute lead through Farshad Ahmadzadeh, were reduced to 10 men just before the break after Mohammad Hosseinnezhad received a straight red for a late challenge on Mustafa Saadoun.
 
Hadi Mohammadi followed suit in the 90th minute but Sepahan held on to keep their Round of 16 hopes alive, with Morais' side to play leaders Al Ittihad FC of Saudi Arabia in their final Group C tie on Monday.

Galtier looks at positives as Al Duhail make exit

Doha: Al Duhail SC finally found their winning touch but it was not enough as they crashed out of the AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 on Monday.

Michael Olunga netted both goals as the Qatar champions defeated Tajikistan's FC Istiklol, but with the Al Nassr-Persepolis FC tie ending in a goalless stalemate, Al Duhail's hopes of advancing to the Round of 16 were dashed.
