#AFCU17 and #U17WAC hopefuls to discover Qualifiers journey

Kuala Lumpur: The qualifying pathways for the next editions of Asia’s U17 national team showpieces will be unveiled on August 7 (Thursday) at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Qualifiers Draw ceremony for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ China 2026 is set to take place at 2pm and will be followed by the equivalent for the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2026 at 4pm, with eight and seven berths on offer respectively for the Finals.

Taif: Nine-man Uzbekistan overcame the odds to win the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 title after defeating Saudi Arabia 2-0 in the final on Sunday.

Uzbekistan stayed resilient despite losing two players to red cards in the first half to lift the coveted trophy for a second time, having emerged champions in 2012.

Song Sung Gwon’s team lifted the title with a perfect five wins without conceding a single goal, producing yet another dominating display in the final  with Jon Il Chong’s second half effort settling the contest.
