Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and KELME have revealed the new official match ball, PARADISE, for the upcoming AFC Champions League Elite™ and AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 seasons.

Unveiled prior to the respective League Stage and Group Stage draws that take place later today, PARADISE marks KELME’s debut as the official match ball supplier for the AFC’s club competitions, which ushered in a brand new era with transformational revamps last season.

League Stage draw to unveil epic #ACLElite battles

Kuala Lumpur: Asia’s finest will discover their first steps to ultimate glory on August 15 (Friday) when the League Stage draw for the AFC Champions League Elite™ (ACL Elite) 2025/26 takes place at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur at 5pm.

Following the resounding success of the groundbreaking 2024/25 season, the revamped competition is set to once again serve up highly anticipated and epic battles – starting with the 24 teams featuring in the League Stage that kicks off on September 15.

#ACLTwo Group Stage showdowns to be revealed

Kuala Lumpur: The contenders for the AFC Champions League Two™ (ACL Two) 2025/26 crown are set to find out their Group Stage fate at the official draw on August 15 (Friday) at 3pm at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur.

Set to be played in a home-and-away round-robin format starting from September 16, the thrilling season will showcase the very best of Asia’s rising clubs from across 22 Member Associations (MAs).

Margao: FC Goa sealed their spot in the AFC Champions League Two™ Group Stage after staving off a late fightback from Al Seeb Club of Oman to walk away with a 2-1 win in their  Preliminary Stage tie on Wednesday.

Dejan Drazic and Javier Siverio scored for FC Goa and the Indian club will now wait to discover their Group Stage opponents on Friday.

Bandung: Persib Bandung overcame a determined Manila Digger FC 2-1 in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage tie at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Wednesday.

The Indonesian side will now make their second consecutive appearance in the Group Stage while Manila will seek continental honours in the AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26.

PS - Al Duhail SC (QAT) 3-2 Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan FC (IRN)

Al Rayyan: Qatar Stars League side Al Duhail overturned an early deficit to hand Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan FC a 3-2 defeat in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage on Tuesday.

Amin Hazbavi gave the side from the Islamic Republic of Iran a third minute lead but goals from Ibrahima Bamba, Adil Boulbina and Krzysztof Piatek by the 33rd minute saw Djamel Belmadi’s outfit secure victory. Milad Zakipour scored a late consolation for Sepahan.

 

The result means Al Duhail will be one of the 12 clubs participating in the league phase of the AFC Champions League Elite from West Asia, with the draw due to take place in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

Chengdu: Chengdu Rongcheng secured their place in the League Stage of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 on Tuesday with Seo Jung-won’s hosts scoring twice in three second half minutes on their way to a 3-0 win over Bangkok United in their preliminary stage showdown.

Yang Mingyang and Felipe netted in the 68th and 71st minutes respectively to break the Thai League 1 side’s resistance before the Brazilian forward added a late third to take the Chinese Super League side into the group phase for the first time in the club’s history.

Chengdu head coach Seo, who won the Asian Club Championship twice as a player with Suwon Samsung Bluewings, will join the 11 other clubs in the draw for the league phase of the competition in the eastern half of the draw, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
