Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced today an exclusive agreement with the Saudi Sports Company for the media rights of the AFC Competitions covering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the commercial cycle 2021-2024.
Following the signing of the agreement, the Saudi Sports Company will have exclusive rights in Saudi Arabia to broadcast the AFC’s major National Team and Club competitions, including the AFC Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 as well as the AFC Champions League.

Kuala Lumpur: Our tribute to the Best Goals of the 2020 AFC Champions League series has so far brought you some of the finest goals and saves from the last edition, but the series will come to an end this week as we honour some of the most uplifting and gratifying celebrations.
As the kick-off date for the historic 2021 edition approaches, the-AFC.com looks back at the 2020 tournament which turned out to be a thrilling affair despite the challenging circumstances.
We kicked off the series in style with fans voting Persepolis FC's Mehdi Abdi Qara as the winner of the Best Headers, Ramin Rezaeian of Al Duhail topped the Best Free-Kicks, Al Nassr's Abdulrahman Al Obaid won the Best Long-Range Goals, Abderrazak Hamdallah's strike against Qatar's Al Saad on Matchday One was voted as the winner of the Best Team Goals while Persepolis' Qara topped the Best Last-Minute Goals, his teammate Hamed Lak won the Best Saves, while Pedro Conde topped the Best Clinical Finishes.

Osaka: Cerezo Osaka, who will represent Japan in the 2021 AFC Champions League, have confirmed the arrival of Brazilian defender Tiago Pagnussat while the club’s new Vietnamese goalkeeper Dang Van Lam also finally landed in Japan at the weekend.
Vietnam international Van Lam, who signed for Cerezo after an 18-month spell with Thailand’s Muangthong United, arrived in Japan on Saturday and will spend two weeks in quarantine at the J.League athletes’ village in line with quarantine regulations relating to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Kathmandu: Newly minted head coach Abdullah Almutairi is confident Nepal can advance to the third round of the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 and lift the SAFF Cup crown as well.
Almutairi, who has replaced Bal Gopal Maharjan, takes charge of Nepal as part of a development partnership between the Qatar Football Association and the All Nepal Football Association.
