The 27-year-old scored both goals at Bunyodkor Stadium as Uzbekistan defeated Turkmenistan 2-0 in Group A of the inaugural CAFA Nations Cup, taking his international tally to 36 goals, two ahead of the previous record holder Maxim Shatskikh who had scored his 34 goals in 61 caps between 1999 and 2014.
