Hohhot: An electrifying performance from Hong Kong, China saw them defeat the Philippines 7-3 in their final Group B match on Sunday to move into the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup™ knockout stage for the first time.

In the other fixture, two-time winners Islamic Republic of Iran were held to a 0-0 stalemate by Vietnam, who topped the standings on goal difference.

On Tuesday in the quarter-finals, Vietnam will face Japan, with Hong Kong, China taking on Thailand and Iran playing Chinese Taipei.
