In Japan, second half substitute Pieros Sotiriou netted a double in Sanfrecce Hiroshima’s 5-1 win over Consadole Sapporo to keep their championship hopes alive while Daegu FC stayed afloat after defeating Chungnam Asan FC 6-5 on aggregate in the relegation playoffs.
